Rustenburg Girls' High School Chamber Choir and "A Touch of Madness"

After arriving in Capetown, we had two activities.  The first was a concert performed by the Rustenburg Girls' High School Chamber Choir.  This is truly an instance where a picture does not do justice to the event.  Think of the scene in "The Sound Of Music" when the nuns are singing in the cathedral.  That is the same sound that came from these girls.  Their voices were so rich and so mature.  It was lovely.  I did get a recording and will try to figure out how to Youtube it and Post it.  I will have the Elders help me.  They can figure out anything.

That afternoon, we went to Makro.  Makro is South Africa's version of Costco, Sam's Club, Home Depot, and Bed Bath & Beyond all rolled in to one.  I should have taken a picture.  Just imagine chaos and that is what we found at Makro's.  We went, we saw, we will never go back.  CUCKOO.

Dinner that evening was at a restaurant in Cape Town called "A Touch of Madness"  It was kind of an Alice in Wonderland themed restaurant, but the food was yummy.  There are twelve couple missionaries in Cape Town and we were all there.  They are all AMAZING people with years and years of church service under their wings.  We are learning from each of them.
