Road Trip!

My daughter Loni lives in West Jordan Utah.  Her home is located on a bit of a slope.  When you are standing on her front porch within your eyesight you can count nine steeples of LDS churches, and that is not what you can see from her back porch.  This past week I was reminded just how isolated from the main body of the church we are in Port Alfred.

Pictured left to right is Nomsa Nteyi (RS President), Sinomtha Kondile (RS 1st Couns.), and Ntombiyakhe Dayile (YW President).  Thursday, November 13 we took these good women to East London to meet with the head of the Lilitha College of Nursing in hopes of them entering in to school there.  East London has a Stake with nine wards.  We took them to the Amalinda Stake Center.  This is the FIRST TIME any of these good women have seen a church building other than the little renovated house that we meet in each week.

Unfortunately the gate was locked and we could not go in.  I explained to them a little bit about the floor plan.  Their comment…"Sista Wheela…It is so big".  "Wow, Sista Wheela, do they really have enough people to fill it?"

We lunched at one of our favorite restaurants called Mugg and Bean.  This was Imanathi's first girl party.  Isn't she a cutie patootie.

One final shot with Rudolph!

President Wheeler was our chauffeur.  He tried to get away from us girls.  No luck!
