Thirty two weeks after we first began this journey, the long awaited joyous day of our mission began.
But if by a still small voice he calls,
To paths that I do not know,
I'll answer dear Lord with my hand in thine,
I'll go where you want me to go.
There's surely somewhere, A lowly place
In earth's harvests field so wide
Where I may labor through life's short day
For Jesus the crucified.
So trusting my all to His tender care,
And knowing thou lovest me,
I'll do thy will with a heart sincere
I'll be what you want me to be.
What a tender mercy the MTC was in our life. Thirty-two weeks we labored to get to this point. We reflect on the hand of the Lord in guiding us through the difficulties that we faced on many turns, and watching as he prepared and opened doors for us one by one to make this happen. The teaching and training we received were evidence that the Lord is in the details of our lives. This experience gave us the much needed chance to reflect on this principle. Tom and Shauna Humphries. They have been with us since October in all of our trainings and will serve as Church History Specialists in Kiev, Ukraine.
Our District. Paul was asked to be District Leader. We had an exceptional group. From left to right are Elder and Sister McDougall serving in Martin Cove Mission with Nick and Launa Leavitt as their District Leader when they arrive. The two sweet sisters are Sister Jones and Sister Conway serving in South Carolina as "WASP" missionaries: Church service missionaries finding the less active. Elder and Sister Nield called to serve in Croatia as MLS missionaries.
On the left is our Preach My Gospel Trainer Elder Webber. Below is Sister Anderson and Elder Arslanian. All three taught with inspiration in the true Come Follow Me Method.

The Visa. Whew. Arrived on Wednesday at the MTC. We could have been in a pickle, but once again the blessings of the Lord manifest itself to us.
